Use a BlackBerry as a tethered modem to connect your
laptop to the Internet. Several BlackBerry smart-phone
models feature this capability, including the Bold, Curve,
Pearl, Storm, Style, Torch and Tour. The Internet
connection will be slower than a usual Wi-Fi connection,
but you will have Internet access. Before connecting a
BlackBerry to the laptop, locate and write down the
laptop's IP address and your Internet APN. Do not use the
BlackBerry while establishing the Internet connection,
since the data may interfere.
